Gi20 is a national development programme to support emerging artists develop and showcase new, small to medium scale, outdoor work. A key output of the programme is to develop the careers of the artists on the programme.

This year Gi20 has commissioned six exciting companies to realise their small to medium-scale idea. The work ranges from circus by Juggling on Tap to live art by Collectif and Then and Karkatag Kollektiv; from contemporary and hip hop dance – Janine Harrington and Rationale to street theatre by Highly Sprung, and original music and spectacular costumes from Harlequin Marching Band. For further information about the companies visit www.gi20.co.uk

Gi20 2015’s presenting partners are Stockton International Riverside Festival (SIRF),Southwark Council’s Blackfriars Stories, Watermans Arts Centre’s Bell Square andHull Freedom Festival.

Gi20 is produced by Remarkable Productions, in association with Event International, who have produced the programme since it was founded in 2011. Gi20 is supported using public funding by Arts Council England.
