Last year 10 acts performed their new work at the National Theatre as part of the Inside Out Festival and at Stockton International Riverside Festival. The weekends over flowed with new and exciting performances of dance, comedy and miniature walkabout theatre, circus-dance performance, a serenading trio of ‘Dolly Parton’s long-lost duaghters’, and a contemplative experience in a ‘life-boat’. Many of the acts are now touring an developing new work.

Last year’s winners of the audience prize, Joli Vyann, a circus / dance company have gone on to develop new work and take it on a tour in the UK this year.
